(May 23, 2025) — A tragic incident unfolded late Wednesday night at a Checkers fast-food restaurant in Kissimmee, Florida, when a dispute over a food order escalated into a fatal shooting. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reported that 51-year-old customer Wesley Robertson was shot and killed by 23-year-old employee Elijah Travis Mackey during an argument at the drive-thru window.
