UPDATE: Brandon Port Located and Interviewed — HOMICIDE SUSPECTS ANTHONY AGUILAR, CARLOS BLAKELY, AND A JUVENILE STILL AT LARGE Nye County Sheriff’s Office Intensifies Manhunt After Fatal Shooting at Ian Deutch Park

NYE COUNTY, NV — The Nye County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that Brandon Port, 18, has been located and interviewed in connection to the homicide that occurred on July 5th at Ian Deutch Park during a public “Movie in the Park” event. Port is cooperating with the investigation; however, three additional suspects remain at large and are actively being pursued by law enforcement.
Suspects Wanted
The Nye County Sheriff’s Office has issued warrants for the following individuals:
- Anthony Aguilar, 18
- Carlos Blakely, 18
- An identified juvenile, who is known to associate with Aguilar, Blakely, and Port
What Happened
During what was supposed to be a family-friendly event at Ian Deutch Park, gunfire erupted, sending shockwaves through the crowd. According to investigators, multiple shots were fired into a crowd of innocent attendees, tragically killing one person and causing widespread panic.
The suspects fled the scene in a red Chevrolet Camaro, which has since been recovered. Authorities have confirmed the suspects did not fire into the air, but deliberately targeted the crowd, making this a case of homicide.
While Brandon Port, 18, has been found and questioned, his full involvement is still under investigation. Authorities believe all four individuals played a role in the events leading to the fatal shooting.

“These suspects made a choice to commit a violent act in a public space. They acted like adults—and they will face adult consequences,” said a spokesperson from the Nye County Sheriff’s Office.
