BISHOPVILLE, SC — The Bishopville community is grappling with the tragic loss of Tanasia “Nay Nay” Parker, a 31-year-old mother of a four-year-old child, who was fatally shot by her boyfriend, 51-year-old Jermaine Wesley, in a domestic murder-suicide on Sunday, May 25, 2025. The incident occurred at their shared residence on Crystal Lane.

Deputies from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting report and discovered both Parker and Wesley deceased from gunshot wounds. Investigators believe Wesley shot Parker before taking his own life.
