It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jessie Reyes, age 29, of Gainesville, Georgia, who departed this life on June 24, 2025. Jessie’s passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved them—family, friends, and a community forever touched by their kindness, joy, and resilient spirit.

Born on October 17, 1995, Jessie was a bright light in the lives of those fortunate enough to walk alongside them. Their presence was one of quiet strength, compassion, and sincerity. Whether through a warm smile, a listening ear, or a helping hand, Jessie made those around them feel seen, heard, and loved. They had a unique way of spreading light wherever they went—turning ordinary moments into treasured memories.

Jessie is lovingly survived by parents Luis Reyes Garcia and Cecilia Reyes Castillo, who raised their child with unconditional love, unwavering support, and shared values of strength, integrity, and faith. Jessie was a devoted sibling to Cathia and Edgar Reyes, and their bond was one of deep loyalty, laughter, and lifelong friendship.

A life marked by purpose and sincerity, Jessie’s spirit lives on in the countless ways they impacted others. Their memory is held dear by extended family, close friends, and the Gainesville community, where Jessie was known for their kind heart and uplifting presence. To honor Jessie’s life, visitation will be held on July 7th and 8th at Memorial Park Funeral Homes, providing family and friends with an opportunity to come together in remembrance and reflection. A funeral Mass will follow on July 8th, a sacred moment to celebrate Jessie’s life and the values they lived by: faith, family, and love.

While we grieve Jessie’s passing, we also celebrate a life that, though brief, was beautifully lived. In every memory, every story shared, and every heart touched, Jessie Reyes remains ever-present. Their legacy is one of love—a lasting reminder to cherish those around us, live authentically, and hold tight to what truly matters.
