The incident occurred around 9 p.m. in the area of Codsell Avenue and Goddard Street, just north of Sheppard Avenue West. Lillian was riding an e-scooter when she was struck by a small white sedan. The driver fled the scene, leaving Lillian fatally injured. Emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene.
Lillian was accompanied by her husband, John Moran, who was also on an e-scooter and witnessed the devastating aftermath. In a poignant statement to local media, Moran confirmed his wife’s identity and shared his profound grief, describing Lillian as his lifelong partner and a beacon of kindness.
