A tight-knit Ayrshire community is reeling from the devastating loss of 14-year-old Aiden McLuckie, who tragically lost his life in a road traffic collision on Wednesday evening near Hurlford. The incident occurred around 5:10 p.m. on the A76 at the bridge over Cessnock Water, on the outskirts of Kilmarnock, leaving family, friends, and neighbors in profound grief.

Emergency services responded swiftly to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle. Despite their efforts, Aiden, a pedestrian at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene.
