The hearts of so many are heavy as we come together in mourning and remembrance of two incredible souls—Bobby and Amanda Martin—whose lives were tragically cut short on July 4th, 2025, during the devastating flood that struck Kerrville, Texas.

What was meant to be a joyful time of connection and celebration quickly turned into heartbreak. Bobby and Amanda were vacationing by the river with their beloved family, cherishing what should have been a peaceful holiday getaway. But nature’s fury had other plans, and in an unimaginable turn of events, the flooding claimed their lives.

Miraculously, two of their children, Ethan and Addison, were rescued and are safe, though undoubtedly shaken. Their strength and resilience in the face of tragedy are nothing short of heroic. However, the pain is far from over—Bailey, Bobby and Amanda’s son, and his girlfriend Jayda remain missing. Search efforts continue, and we ask the community to send prayers and hope as crews work tirelessly to find them and bring them home.

This loss is not only felt deeply within their immediate family but has sent shockwaves through the entire community. Bobby and Amanda were more than just devoted parents and partners—they were bright lights, known for their kindness, compassion, and unwavering love.
